Returns & Refunds

1.Stocked items

You may return a stocked item within fourteen (7) days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided it is unused, in its original packaging and in the condition in which it reached you. Proof of purchase is required.

2.Made-to-order and fitted work

Items made, sized, finished or fitted to your specification cannot be returned or refunded because you have changed your mind. This includes bespoke furniture, fitted joinery, and any item produced against an approved drawing, finish sample or measurement. Your rights where an item is defective or not as specified are unaffected - see our Warranty.

Because production begins on approval, a deposit on a made-to-order item is non-refundable once we have commenced manufacture. Where you cancel before production begins, we will refund the deposit less any design, drawing or material costs already committed.

3.Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If an item is damaged in transit, defective, or is not what you ordered, tell us within seven (7) days of delivery and we will collect it and repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you.

4.How to start a return

Contact us at +256 393100493 or info@dawinfinishes.com with your order reference before sending anything back. Items returned without an agreed return will not be accepted. Approved returns should be sent to Ground Floor, Jordan House, Kayondo Road, Kyambogo Upper Estate, Kampala, Uganda.

5.Refunds

Once we have received and inspected a returned item we will confirm whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within five (5) business days. Your bank or card issuer may take longer to post it.

Collection or return delivery costs for a change-of-mind return are payable by you. We bear them where the item was damaged, defective or incorrect.

6.Non-returnable

Made-to-order, bespoke and fitted items, except where defective (section 2).
Items damaged by use, alteration or storage after delivery.
Gift cards.
