2.What we collect

Contact details — your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number.
Order and project information — what you bought or commissioned, drawings, measurements, finish selections, site details and correspondence.
Payment information — we do not store full card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we retain a record of the transaction and its status.
Client portal accounts — sign-in identifiers and the activity needed to show you your project.
Site visit records — where we survey or install, notes and photographs of the premises.
Technical information — device, browser and usage data when you use our website or client portal.

3.Why we use it

To quote for, manufacture, deliver and install what you have ordered.
To manage your project and communicate with you about it.
To take payment and keep accounting records.
To honour warranty and returns obligations.
To meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements.
To improve our products and services, and — where you have asked for it — to send you marketing.

We share personal information only with those who need it to deliver your order: our delivery and installation partners, payment providers, and the software providers that host our systems. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

5.How long we keep it

We keep project and transaction records for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and warranty periods. We keep marketing contact details until you ask us to stop.

6.Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, or ask us to stop sending marketing. Write to info@dawinfinishes.com and we will respond as promptly as we can.

7.Storage and security

Your information is held in access-controlled business systems. Some of our providers store data outside Uganda; where they do, we rely on their contractual data-protection commitments. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information to us over unsecured channels.

8.Our online store

Our storefront is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about your visit and purchase in order to run the shop. Their handling of that data is described in Shopify’s own consumer privacy notice.

9.Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published here, and the effective date above tells you when it last changed.
